Prayer Alert

A Prayer Alert is an urgent call to every Deborah to pray for a child or teenager. We can trust in the promises written in Matthew 18:19 “if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask it will be done for them by my Father in heaven”.

Dear Deborah’s & Daniels, intercessors

Tonight Gods Spirit put a clear prayer burden on my heart. I started praying and God's Spirit revealed the following:
Our children, youth and young adults are precious to him. They live in a different time and they meet the pressures of life. The schools start again and that requires a lot of them. Physically and mentally much happens and the expectations are high.
In addition, in The Netherlands, many of them are attracted to the wrong spirit of freedom. We all need the freedom of Christ to be truly free. Deborah’s and Daniels, let us prayerfully stand around these young people, around these scholars, even fighting through prayer. Praise God for He has not left us behind like orphans, but He has given us His Holy Spirit. All the glory be to Him.

God's Word is powerful and these texts were revealed to me while I was praying.
Psalm 32: 7 “You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Selah”
Zechariah 4: 6 - 7a “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts. Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain.”
Psalm 20: 6 – 8 “Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving might of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. They collapse and fall, but we rise and stand upright.”

May His will be done, in earth as it is in heaven. We can leave the results to God, He is our Leader, Amen.
Shalom, God's heavenly blessing for all of us,

A Deborah from The Netherlands

Dear Deborah’s and Daniels

Last week I read a newspaper article with the headline "A yearlong of praying for Amina." Father Jonah Bulama the past year to pray for his daughter Amina 15 years. She is one of the 219 Nigerian girls from the village Chibok who a year ago was abducted by Boko Haram. Each track is missing, but there are fearful suspicions that Amina and the other girls are forced into sexual slavery, to fight or to be married to the fighters of Boko Haram.

There's been a lot of political pressure to find and rescue these girls, but there is hardly anything done.
Jonah prays for his daughter and would not give up. I want to ask you to pray with Jonah God's protection for Amina and others.

Pray for salvation of the abducted girls, the way David in Psalm 68 says the following:
our God is a saving God.
By God, the Lord's deliverance from death, Psalm 68: 21.

Pray for perseverance and confidence for Jonah and the other parents and pray for a change in the lives of the fighters, that they may know God's love.

Prayer Alert for the children in Syria and in the refugee camps.

The war in Syria now lasts 2 years and more than 100,000 people already have died. War means for children living in hell, fear and insecurity and the experience of traumatic events. Basic needs and rights of children are missing such as education, housing, health, medicine, water and food. Many children are on the run and many children have lost parents or family.

For children in Christian families and villages the situation is even more frightening, because Christians are regularly the target of military action. They are forced to turn away from their faith in God and their churches and schools be set on fire.
We feel strenghtless to change this situation, but we have a powerful weapon and that is Prayer! We can pray for the children in Syria Psalm 142 and fill their names into the Psalm that David wrote when he had to hide in the cave for his enemies.

Henk is part of the WakeUp Deborah prayer movement and calls us to pray every day three minutes or to reflect on the suffering of the children in Syria and in the refugee camps. You can read more about this in his petition http://chn.ge/16vie06

"O Lord, attend to their cry, for they are brought very low! Deliver them from their persecutors, for they are too strong for them”, Psalm 142: 6.
